Entry Level Deeds for Boosting Your Idealism Trait in LOTRO
![]() | Idealism is a LOTRO deed that should not be missing from any caster's deed chart, as it grants Fate, Will and Resistance Rating. Therefore, here's a short guide on how to take this trait to the level cap. 1. Bree-land. There are 2 deeds here that grant +1 Idealism: - Flowers of the Old Forest For this one you will have to gather the following flowers in the Old Forest (obviously): Braiglad's Flower (32.2S,58.4W), Merillif's Flower (35.3S,58.3W), Lenhwest's Flower (33.3S,57.5W), Cordofoneth's Flower (32.6S,59.3W), Dorollin's Flower (34.2S,60.1W), Silloth's Flower (35.2S,56.9W), Rhostorn's Flower (32.0S,61.0W) and Neldorlas' Flower (30.6S,57.3W) - The History of the Dunedain For this deed you must find several relics of the Dunedain, south and east from Bree-town. These are: The Ancient Inscription (30.2S,49.1W), The Dunedain Statue (33.4S,48.8W), Ancient Cairn (27.1S,46.6W), Ancient Crest (30.7S,52.6W), Ancient Obelisk (29.5S,45.8W), Ancient Altar (31.2S,44.9W) |
2. Lone-lands.
To benefit from +2 Idealism, you kinda have to complete a lot of quests in Lone-lands. Therefore, as you level up your character, this zone should be one on your list. The deed's name is Tales of the Lonely Road, and it has 3 parts.
- Tales of the Lonely Road - you need to complete 15 quests in the Lone-lands, and for this one, you will receive +1 Charity, which is actually not a bad all-purpose trait.
- Tales of the Lonely Road (Advanced) - complete 30 quests in the Lone-lands. For this deed, you will get +1 Compassion, which is also an all-purpose deed.
- Tales of the Lonely Road (Final) - complete 45 quests in the Lone-lands. For this one you will get the +2 Idealism.
3. Trollshaws.
The deed you will have to complete for your next +2 Idealism is called Deeds in the Wilderness, and similar to Tales of the Lonely Road, you will have to do the whole deed, the final part - 45 quests, to get the Idealism bonus. This kinda sucks because Trollshaws is quite a wide area and you'll have to travel a lot completing quests. To be honest, I've never been a big fan of this LOTRO zone. Also, unfortunately the first two parts will grant you +1 to Innocence and Loyalty, which are pretty much tanking deeds.
With these 3 deeds completed, you will already have +6 on your Idealism, which is excellent for a low level caster.
